El Monte City School District has made a minor change to the instructional schedule for TK-8th Grade in order to provide more asynchronous learning time for students. Click headline to view full message and new schedule.

We're asking our community to help us collect personal hygiene products so we can donate them to our local Emergency Resources Association (ERA). These products will be given to those in need, click headline for full details. Schools will be accepting donations until 12:00pm Friday, November 20th.

This year, EMCSD has provided 10 locations as Voting Centers for the LA County Registrar-Record/County Clerk. Each location is available for early voting starting Friday, October 30. The Nutrition Services Department has added two more days worth of meals to their meal kit program. All children 18 years & under are eligible for seven days worth of meals.

A grant from the Panda Cares Foundation will fund Leader in Me student materials, including student workbooks and teacher guides, as well as a coach whose focus will be tailored to each school’s needs.

The El Monte City School District is grateful for our outstanding staff, supportive community, and the Board of Education for the continued support of our students and schools.
